Nix houdt het overzicht (Nix keeps an overview)

The problem of installation, distribution and maintenance of software can be solved, says Eelco Dolstra, a computer scientist.

He proves it with Nix - his own system - which automates the roll-out or roll-back of software, and manages to keep isolate and seperate applications. Mr Dolstra Dolstra obtained his PhD on his creation on 18 January 2006 at the Utrecht University (Netherlands).
