New GnuPG key

–—BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE–— Hash: SHA256,SHA1

Mon Feb 4 15:33:19 CET 2013

During Fosdem 2013’s key signing party, several participants pointed out that I needed to update my gnupg key. Today I have set up a new key, and will be transitioning away from my old one. The old key will continue to be valid for some time, but I prefer all future correspondence to come to the new one. I would also like this new key to be re-integrated into the web of trust. This message is signed by both keys to certify the transition.

Fingerprint for the old key: pub 1024D/04CF3929 2004-11-25 Key fingerprint = 0D0B 9C67 0520 3B27 A91C 369B 7154 1B0A 04CF 3929

Fingerprint for the new key: pub 4096R/E997A3AF 2013-02-04 Key fingerprint = 340F F9A4 8F6C 18FD D032 0C33 ABA1 CB30 E997 A3AF

To fetch my new key from a public key server, you can simply do: gpg –keyserver pgp.mit.edu –recv-key E997A3AF

If you already know my old key, you can now verify that the new key is signed by the old one:

gpg –check-sigs E997A3AF

If you don’t already know my old key, or you just want to be double extra paranoid, you can check the fingerprint against the one above: gpg –fingerprint E997A3AF

If you are satisfied that you’ve got the right key, and the UIDs match what you expect, I’d appreciate it if you would sign my key:

gpg –sign-key E997A3AF

Lastly, if you could upload these signatures, i would appreciate it.

You can either send me an e-mail with the new signatures, or you can just upload the signatures to a public keyserver directly:

gpg –keyserver pgp.mit.edu –send-key E997A3AF

Please let me know if there is any trouble, and sorry for the inconvenience.

Regards,
